    How to Enable Fax Messaging

    Fax Messaging is a service that, when turned on, allows a User to receive a Fax Message within the Voice Manager. When a fax is received, a (numeric) notification is placed on the Messages icon on the home page of the Voice Manager. The User can retrieve a Fax Message by going to the Messages page. Both Voice and Fax messages are displayed on the Messages page. Fax Messages have a document icon displayed.

    The User's Fax Messaging is configured on the Calling Features page in Voice Administration.

    Note: A User can configure Fax Messaging in the Voice Manager. After logging in, the User selects Settings > Messages Settings > Fax Messaging.

    1. Log in to the Client Portal
    2. Select Voice under Services
    3. Select Manage Now
    4. From the User dropdown, select a User
    5. The Calling Features page is displayed
    6. Locate Third Party Messaging
    7. Turn Fax Messaging On/Off
    8. Click Save
