What is Cisco Webex Calling?

Cisco Webex Calling is a cloud service that offers enterprise-grade calling features delivered from the Cisco Webex cloud. This platform is part of the complete Webex collaboration suite that serves the calling, messaging, meeting, team collaboration and contact center workloads needed by the SMB market segment. Webex Calling is sold by Cisco VARs and provides a cloud alternative for customers who no longer want to own and maintain an on-premises phone system.

With Webex Calling, Cisco supports a “Bring Your Own Carrier” model, allowing customers to use any carrier of their choice for PSTN service by deploying a local gateway. Now, with Cloud Connect, customers may use Certified Calling Provider like Fusion Connect for their PSTN access.
